More Fijians will soon be able to study in Indonesian Universities following the launch of the IndoAid scholarship programme earlier this year.

Indonesian Ambassador to Fiji Benyamin Scott Carnadi confirmed this after Fiji signed a development agreement with the Indonesian government.

He says more Fijians will be able to explore various other fields of study that are not available locally.

“The aim is to share expertise, experience and provide a spot for human resources development, for capacity building. We have a development cooperation agreement with the Fijian government and based on the sector under the development agreement, we can share how we can tap what kind of assistance that is needed by Fiji”

Over 50 Fijians have successfully completed their studies in Indonesia, under the Indonesian government’s scholarship.
