Fiji needs quality graduates says Education Minister Rosy Akbar.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony of the Technical College of Fiji Akbar says there is a great need for quality graduates who meet the expectations of the labor market whether it be locally or regionally.

Akbar says qualification needs to be trusted and respected by other countries for labor mobility.

“We will need to improve and explain the outcome of our education system to produce human resource of high quality for employment and also for our contribution to the international knowledge economy”

Akbar says the government will do all it can to ensure that every student gets the support they deserve to excel academically.
