The Annual Entrepreneurship workshop will focus on improving and enhancing the work of Fijian artisans.

The workshop is organized by the Fiji Arts Council in partnership with the Department of Heritage and Arts

While officiating at the workshop Minister for Education Rosy Akbar reassured participants that Government is working towards developing frameworks and effective policies that will further enhance the cultural sector.

Akbar says budgetary provisions will ensure that artists continue to thrive in the work they do thus contributing to economic sustainability and empowerment.

She also stressed that the Ministry through the Department of Heritage will continue to collaborate with statutory bodies such as the Fiji Arts Council to deliver key deliverables that contribute to economic growth.
