First time tertiary students’ are being advised to choose their courses carefully before registering with any institution.

Fiji Higher Education Commission has noticed that many students are unable to find jobs after graduating.

Communications Officer, Epi Rawalai says it’s also important for students to enroll in institutions recognized by the Commission

“They are to make sure that the programs that they choose is way under their career pathway and also accredited. This will ensure that when they complete their studies they are able to market themselves properly with a recognized qualification.”

The Commissioner oversees the development and improvement of higher education in Fiji with the aim of ensuring that learners have the best opportunity to gain relevant qualifications.
