Burchell in receiving the books thanked the Foundation for their continued efforts and assistance towards the education sector and urged students to use libraries to improve their knowledge.

“Does anyone know why you are important? It is because you are going to be the future leaders of Fiji. But you only going to become the future leaders of Fiji if you do some readings with these books. Because these books will give you the foundation as you develop into young adults and into future leaders of Fiji.”

Burchell also says teachers play an incredibly important role in encouraging literacy to students.
