Educating real estate agents is our priority: REALB

The Real Estate Licensing Board (REALB) Chair – Dr Abdul Hassan says the priority this year is to educate the real estate agents on real estate laws, policies, compliance, monitoring and consumer behavior.

Dr Hassan says a workshop will be held in Suva next Monday which will provide a great opportunity for the agents to learn about the Law governing their activities.

He is urging the real estate agents in the country to attend a workshop where agents will also be allowed to raise their concerns and suggestions on how to improve the real estate activities in the country.

Institutions like the Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority, Department of Immigration, Investment Fiji, Fiji Commerce Commission, Police Department and Ministry of Lands is assisting the organization to help organize the workshop.

Dr Hassan says this will be the first ever workshop held for the real estate agents in the Central Division.

Currently there are 114 real estate agents and 154 sales persons in Fiji.
