August 17, 2012 8:07 pm

The Ministry of Health is appealing to communities to provide programs for teenagers to be involved in, during the two weeks holidays to stop them from being involved in other risk behaviors.

Health spokesperson Peni Namotu says excessive use of alcohol and entering nightclubs are two of the most contributing factors that lead to unplanned pregnancies during festive season.

Namotu is advising parents and guardians to take care of their children.
