This is the main catchment area for Viti Levu that feeds the Wainibuka River.

Naiqamu adds work is also being conducted to widen the forest areas.

This is to protect the purpose of biodiversity conservation that will encompass much of the district of Saivou including the Nabalasere land.

The venture is strategically located to promote the importance of forest ecosystem services to support the everyday livelihood, whilst generating income and employment for the villages.

The Forest Park was successfully implemented by the Parks and Reserves Unit of the Ministry of Forests.

It took a period of six months to be completed.
