Early official results puts FijiFirst in front

The official results of the 2018 General Election has started to roll out, with FijiFirst taking an early lead.

FijiFirst has polled 398 votes from the 10 counting centers which have officially been counted and processed.

SODELPA is in second place with 244 votes, while the National Federation Party has 27 votes.

Unity Fiji is on 20, HOPE has 5 votes and the Fiji Labour Party on three.

FijiFirst leader, Voreqe Bainimarama has polled 330 votes, with most of his votes coming from the Queen Elizabeth Barracks, where he managed 187 votes and from the RFMF in the North, where he had 63 votes.

The results will continue to be officially released by the Fijian Elections Office as the day progresses.
