Firefighters have managed to contain a fire that broke out at a building in Waimalika, Nadi.

The fire started at around 6am.

It is believed the fire started from the freight company located right next to Vision Motors.

Our reporter at the scene says both businesses sustained a great amount of damage.

The Vision Motors showroom which contained spare parts and vehicles was also damaged along with seven of its vehicles on display in the compound.

Firefighters and police officers are still at the scene.
