The electronic ticketing program has been further delayed.
The program was scheduled to start today but it did not eventuate.
Suva Grammar School which is part of the program told FBC News that the
students selected for the program received their cards today, however they
were advised that the program will begin next week.
Tebara Transport Limited this afternoon said that equipment has been installed in two of its buses but they have not received any other information from the company working on the program.
No comments could be obtained from Shore buses and Tacirua Transport who are also part of the program.
Transport Ministry spokesperson Illiesa Sokia told FBC News he would look into the matter however when this bulletin went to air no response has been received.
