Duo jailed after breaking into a Primary School

The Suva High Court has sentenced two people to imprisonment after finding them guilty for burglary and theft-related charges.

Luke Seniceva and Viliame Motokainava were found guilty of one count each of aggravated robbery and theft.

Seniceva was sentenced to two years imprisonment while Motokainava was sentenced to two years and eight months imprisonment.

While delivering the sentencing, High Court Judge Justice Salesi Temo says the court denounces the act of burglary and theft.

The court heard that the two had broken into the Tamavua Primary School in July 2016 and stole assorted items worth $9, 178.
