The Duke and Duchess of Sussex Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be arriving into the country today.

The royal highnesses will be arriving at the Nausori Airport at 4:30pm and they’ll be greeted with a Guard of Honour.

“As part of their Fiji tour itinerary, the couple will then travel to Borron House in Suva where they will call on the President Major General Retired Jioji Konrote.

The Department of Information reveals that the couple will then attend an official traditional welcome ceremony at Suva’s Albert Park later this evening.

From there, they will leave for the Grand Pacific Hotel to attend a reception and a State dinner hosted by the President followed a by a royal wave from the GPH balcony.

On Wednesday, there will be laying of a wreath at the War Memorial by his royal highness and they will then visit the University of the South Pacific campus in Suva.

The Duke will then travel to Colo-i-Suva for the Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy unveiling; whilst the Duchess will visit with women’s’ groups representatives at the British High Commissioner’s residence.

The Duchess will then be at the Suva market.

The routes that their motorcades will take have schools enroute and this will be an opportunity for students and the public to stand on the roadside and wave flags as the royal entourage passes.

Their next public engagement will be at the Nadi International Airport on Thursday morning where the Duke will unveil the statue of Sgt. Taliasi Labalaba.”
