Drug abuse stretching the roles of school heads

August 15, 2019 7:20 am

Minister for Education Rosy Akbar says the increase in drugs and substance abuse-related cases from schools is challenging school heads.

Akbar confirmed to FBC News that reports of drug use by students continue to rise in 2019, following a record 1,634 cases last year.

Akbar says the Ministry is also trying to find experts who can go into the schools to assist in fighting the problem.
