Drowned teen's parents fly in

The parents of a Brisbane school leaver who drowned during a schoolies celebration on Plantation Island have flown to Fiji to try to find answers to their son’s death.

17 year old Harrison Kadell, was the vice-captain of the St Thomas More Catholic College in Brisbane.

He was on Plantation Island, off Nadi, celebrating his graduation with about 500 other schoolies this week.

It is still unclear what happened, but Harrison was found floating in the resort swimming pool.

Australian media report that his parents are in Fiji to take his body back home.
Local police have confirmed they are investigating the matter.
