The Land Transport Authority is advising drivers to be cautious on the roads during this rainy weather.

Chief Executive Naisa Tuinaceva says careless driving can be deadly in these conditions.

“Simple laws like not overtaking on double solid lines, using traffic indicators, slowing down and following road markings these are the simple rules which drivers tend to ignore which leads to accidents.”

Tuinaceva adds while they will continue to monitor drivers on the roads, the onus is on drivers to play their part.
