Despite advisories and warnings on driving attitudes no improvements are being made says the Fiji Police Force.
A 24-year-old driver and a pedestrian escaped death yesterday after a bus collided with a private car.
Police say a 24-year-old bus driver while traveling towards Suva hit a private car which was heading from Daniva Rd towards Yasiyasi road.
The incident occurred at midday yesterday at the Valelevu Roundabout outside Suva.
Due to the impact of the collision the private car tumbled and hit a 40-year-old pedestrian.
Both vehicles crashed into the fence of a nearby residence.
The driver of the private car and the pedestrian suffered injuries and are being kept under observation at the CWM Hospital.
The bus driver has been interviewed and released.
The Force is once again pleading with motorists to be considerate of other road users.
