The incident occurred at midday yesterday at the Valelevu Roundabout outside Suva.

Due to the impact of the collision the private car tumbled and hit a 40-year-old pedestrian.

Both vehicles crashed into the fence of a nearby residence.

The driver of the private car and the pedestrian suffered injuries and are being kept under observation at the CWM Hospital.

The bus driver has been interviewed and released.

The Force is once again pleading with motorists to be considerate of other road users.
