Drejia Me Lem competition gets underway

Fijian Broadcasting Corporation's Bula FM Drejia Me Lem competition has begun at the Rups Mega complex in Nakasi.

Fijian Broadcasting Corporation’s Bula FM Drejia Me Lem competition has begun at the Rups Mega complex in Nakasi.

The finalists took their places in the last hour, standing in 16x16cm squares surrounded by water cups.

The last man standing by 3pm on Saturday will win the 2019 Hyundai Tuscon worth more than $69,000.

FBC Chief Executive Riyaz Sayed-Khaiyum wished all the participants well as the three-day competition begins.

“I’d just like to say I wish all the participants well, everyone knows the competition rules. It’s going to be exciting and apparently the cars value has gone up in the last couple of months so it’s worth more now than it used to be.”

Bula FM Drejia Me Lem competition is being streamed live on Bula FM’s facebook page.
