Permanent Secretary for Women Children and Poverty Alleviation Dr Josefa Koroivueta says he’s thankful to have been re-appointed to the position.

Dr. Koroivueta is among seventeen people appointed to various ministries.

Speaking to FBC News he says the role brings new challenges but he is more than ready for the job.

“I am filled with joy and i want to thank the higher authorities for having the trust and also having made a decision for the new appointment as the permanent secretary in a ministry that looks after the empowerment of women.”

Dr Koroivueta’s term is for three years – the same as all other Permanent Secretaries.
