Economy Minister Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum has told Opposition Members not to use aspects of the Fijian economy as a political football.
Speaking during the debate on RBF’s report in Parliament yesterday, Sayed-Khaiyum says it is in our best interest to ensure that there is confidence in the economy.
He adds using the economy as a political tool will have a huge detrimental impact on the country.
“Because it has a direct implications on the level of investments, direct implications on investors’ confidence and direct implications on jobs”
Sayed-Khaiyum says Opposition MP’s should also stop personalizing matters and try and work together to build the economy.
