Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has told Pacific Island leaders not to think small.
Speaking at the Forum Leaders discussion at the Pacific Islands Forum Meeting, Bainimarama made these comments while proposing a programme of an innovative partnership between government, communities and the private sector within the pacific region.
Speaking at the Forum Leaders dialogue today, Bainimarama encouraged leaders to examine one or two transformation regional projects to bring about innovation.
Bainimarama says there is a great need for private sector-led regional initiatives to build and adapt our critical public and private infrastructure for climate change.

He says the Pacific needs to train and improve the skills of our workforce in sectors that can provide employment anywhere in the region.
With a significant commitment to potential financing from Australia and other donors, the Prime Minister has urged the forum not to think small.
Bainimarama says climate change demands vision, leadership, and innovation to create new opportunities.
