A thirty-eight -year-old doctor who is alleged to have caused the death of one fifty-four-year-old taxi driver last Thursday, appeared in the Suva Magistrates Court today.

Marvin Ray Ketenilagi has been remanded in custody and his case will be called before the High court in Suva.

It is alleged that Ketenilagi assaulted the driver at the Post Office Arcade in Suva.

Prosecution says that it is alleged that the driver fell down after the alleged assault and received multiple injuries.

The case will be recalled on Friday.
