A thirty-eight -year-old medical doctor who is alleged to have caused the death of a fifty-four-year-old taxi driver last Thursday, was not present in the Suva High Court, this morning.

Marvin Ray Ketenilagi later appeared in court after twenty minutes.
He was in police custody when his case was called.

It is alleged that Ketenilagi assaulted the driver at the Post Office Arcade in Suva.
Prosecution said it is alleged that the driver multiple injuries after he was the alleged assault.

The case will be recalled on Monday and he has been further remanded in custody.
