Last night more than five hundred people turned up at the Damodar Centre car park in Suva to take part in the 2018 Mirchi FM and Radio Fiji Two Diwali Dandia Dhoom competition.

Radio Mirchi’s Program Director Renuka Goundar says this was the second year Fiji Broadcasting had organized the competition with it being a great success.

Goundar says despite the rainy weather people turned up to partake in the competition which provides a good time for people of all races to socialize and learn about other cultures.

More than twelve participants took part in the competition yesterday in two categories.

A similar competition will be organized next year as well.
