An investigation is underway following the discovery of the body of a 35-year old farmer yesterday afternoon.

Police say the discovery was made by a group of divers in Vatia waters in Tavua.

The victim from Matacawa, Tavua was last seen leaving home to fish in nearby waters.

A post-mortem will be conducted soon.
