Director Traffic SSP Mahesh Mishra says there is a zero alcohol limit for some licence holders.

These include those drivers who have provisional, PSV and heavy goods vehicle license holders.

The reminder comes following the arrest of a provisional license holder who was driving under the influence of liquor.

The twenty-two-year-old driver has been detained at Ba Police Station following an accident in Raviravi Ba yesterday.

The man allegedly tried to overtake two vehicles.

Mishra says the driver allegedly swerved to avoid hitting an oncoming vehicle and his car landed in a sugar cane field.

Four other passengers in the car and the driver of the oncoming vehicle escaped injuries.
