The Walesi Digital Television platform is now available to the people of Vanua Levu.

It was initially launched by the Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama in Taveuni, Tukavesi and Natewa last week.

The Walesi platform has eight channels – FBC, FBC 2, FBC Plus, Fiji TV, Channel 2, Mai TV, Hope Channel and Parliament Channel.

Families with a combined family income of less than $30,000 can get the Walesi Set Top Box for free.

Forms on obtaining a Set Top Box is available at any District Officer’s office.

Those who earn more than $30,000 can purchase their Set Top Boxes for $99.

There are certain areas that will require the public to purchase a satellite dish and for areas that don’t need to, the public will need to have a UHF antenna.
