The Fiji Chamber of Commerce and Industry has revealed that most business will become paperless and fully digital by 2025.
President Nur Bano Ali says to achieve this, there is a need for businesses to start the backend work now.
Ali says while most large economies are adapting to the digital advancements, businesses in Fiji need to join the global trend as well.
“We are definitely heading towards a new business climate. Gone are those days of those big laptops and computer, and now everything is smaller like smart phones carry everything, so we need to think ahead and that is what we were trying to do. Position businesses to think ahead.”
Meanwhile, the Business 2025 Forum will be held this Saturday at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva which will be attended by 300 business representatives.
