DHL opens another service point in Labasa.

This consists of a parcel drop off centre in Labasa Town and a door to door courier service in and around Labasa inclusive of full GPRS connectivity, ensuring Labasa shipments can be tracked online in real time, from anywhere in the world.

DHL Country Manager Mark Komene says DHL has built the world’s largest international express network by expanding their reach to customers.

Komene says with the ongoing infrastructure development and business growth of Vanua Levu, the demand for high quality international express services in Labasa has increased dramatically.

Whilst in Labasa, Komene and the DHL team took time to visit Naleba Primary School in Labasa with a special donation of 20 desktop computers and 10 laptop computers as part of their “Go Teach” Corporate Social Responsibility program.

Introduced in 2008, DHL’s ‘Go Teach’ program now has more than 108,000 employees taking part in some 1,700 projects in 117 countries around the world.
