The defence counsels have objected to the amended information filed by the state in relation to an alleged sedition case involving the Fiji Times executives.

Josaia Waqabaca, Anare Ravula, Fred Wesley and Hank Arts have been charged with one count each of sedition.

It is alleged that Waqabaca, Ravula, Wesley, Arts and the Fiji Times Limited made or caused to have published a seditious statement in the Nai Lalakai newspaper.

The matter was called in the High Court this morning where the defence objected to the amended information.

They have been given time to file their submission.

The matter has been adjourned to March 1st for hearing on the objections.
