Datec launches new logo in its new home

Since its inception in 1985, Datec (Fiji) continues to thrive in the IT sector stamping its mark locally and regionally.

The company has been taking innovative approaches to boost its deliverables as evident in the launching of its new logo and office location last night.

Datec General Manager Ateen Kumar says the efficient and effective services that is normally rendered by the company continues to be recognized by organizations from the private and public sectors.

“We use our experience and capabilities to empower our clients across various sectors including Corporate, Tourism, Government, Financials, SME, NGOs, Schools, Media and more”.

Datec now has its new office located at Garden City in Raiwai.

Kumar says Datec which is a subsidiary of Vodafone Fiji has thoroughly planned and implemented its systems and processes under an international accredited quality management system.


“Datec has achieved a major milestone in its Quality Management journey by being the first IT Company in Fiji to make a successful transition to the internationally recognized ISO-9001:2015 accreditation”.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chairman Russell Hewitt says customer’s needs is paramount for the company.

“Being the people’s company our desire is to not only do great business but to also ensure we bring the benefits to the people and the economy of Fiji”.

Datec currently has two offices in Suva and Nadi and is planning to diversify its workforce and office to other parts of the county.
