Tropical cyclone Daphne is now located about 590kilometers south-southwest of Nadi.

Daphne is still is category 1 and close to the centre the cyclone is estimated to have average wind speeds of 75 km/hr.

It is now moving southeast at about 50 km/hr.

On this track the centre is expected to lie about 970 km south of Kadavu or about 780 km south of Ono-I-Lau at 12pm today.

For Viti Levu, Yasawa and Mamanuca Group, Southern Lau group, Kadavu
and nearby smaller islands strong wind warning remains in force.
