Daniel Amitesh Chand who was wanted for questioning in relation to a case where he is alleged to have obtained up to $6,000 from an Australian citizen, surrendered himself yesterday.

Police says that Chand is now being questioned at the Sigatoka Police Station.

It is alleged the victim had been sending up to $6,000 whereby an agreement was reached for the suspect to pay the victim back which to date he has failed to do.

The case of causing a loss was reported at the Sigatoka Police Station and he was also wanted for questioning in other similar cases reported at the Nabua Police Station.

Investigations continue.
