Crown Prince of Norway impressed with cultural performances

Crown Prince of Norway Haakon Magnus was today welcomed with cultural performances at the University of the South Pacific.
After delivering his keynote address to students at the Japan-Pacific ICT Centre, he made his way to the Oceania Dance Centre where various performances were held.
The event saw a variety of cultural dance performances by the Oceania Dance Group.
Also present at the event was the USP Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Innovation & International) Professor Derrick Armstrong.
Prince Haakon then visited the University’s Lower Campus to engage in canoe sailing.
He will be attending a wreath laying ceremony at the National War Memorial in Veiuto later this afternoon before making his way to Daku village.
At Daku, he will meet with village communities before departing for Nadi International Airport.
