Police are still investigating an alleged murder that happened along Service Street in Suva yesterday.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed the incident.

The victim is a woman and the suspect in this matter is believed to be her husband who is currently admitted at the CWM Hospital.

The Fiji Sun has identified the woman as Jenniffer Downes and she’s believed to work for an international organization in Suva.

The Sun also believes the husband is Henry Lusaka John.

The two are Australian nationals.

Naisoro says details are sketchy at this stage.
