A 28-year-old unemployed man from Ambala Place in Four Miles, Nasinu has been arrested after white substances were found in his possession.

He was arrested by the Southern Division Taskforce.

The raid was conducted at the accused’s residence this weekend where several small clear plastics containing white substance later tested positive to be methamphetamine was seized.

The suspect fled the scene but was arrested a few metres away from his residence.

He has been charged with one count of found in possession of illicit drugs and will be produced at the Nasinu Magistrates Court tomorrow.
