Two men are in custody and being questioned by Police for their alleged involvement in an aggravated robbery in Kulukulu, Sigatoka.

Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro has confirmed the suspects robbed cash and other valuables from the home of a 65-year-old man on Wednesday afternoon.

It’s alleged the two men brutally assaulted the owner of the house resulting in injuries.

The men stole cash and some valuables and fled in a Black Toyota Prius however, they were later arrested that night.

The victim was rushed to the hospital and is now recovering.

Police have confirmed they’ve recovered the stolen items.

Investigation continues.
