Two men were arrested in Lautoka yesterday following a stop and search conducted by the police.

A 38-year-old man from Sigatoka and a 48-year-old farmer from Vunato Settlement, Lautoka were allegedly found in possession of one sachet of dried leaves – suspected to be marijuana and one clear plastic containing white crystals believed to be methamphetamine.

Both suspects were questioned and released.

Police say the findings have been seized and sent for analysis.

Investigation continues.
