Two men have been charged with the unlawful possession of illicit drugs.

The two men were found with the illicit substances in their vehicles last week, which tested positive for methamphetamine.

The drugs were in clear plastic bags.

The two accused both 28-years-old were arrested after two separate search operations were conducted during a police patrol along Queen Elizabeth Drive in Nasese, Suva last Friday.

The men have been charged with one count each of unlawful possession of illicit drugs.

They will be produced at the Suva Magistrates court later today.
