Three people were arrested yesterday after they were found in possession of parcels believed to be marijuana.

The Police Southern Division Drugs team raided a dwelling house in Kinoya and a 30-year-old man was found in possession of one parcel believed to be marijuana.

In a separate case a man from Namara village, Wayalailai, Yasawa was also arrested by police for unlawful cultivation of 40 plants, suspected to be marijuana.

A 25-year-old man was also arrested in Naboro village for being in possession of three sachets of dried leaves, suspected to be marijuana.

All suspects are in police custody and the drugs have been sent for analysis.
