A 25-year-old man of Navakai, Nadi was arrested by police after he was allegedly found in possession of 3 sachet of dried leaves believed to be Marijuana.

Police says the leaves were wrapped in an aluminium foil.

The suspect is in custody and the drugs have been sent for analysis.

Meanwhile, a 20-year-old man of Kennedy Avenue was also arrested by police at the Nadi market.

It’s alleged that the suspect was in possession of 3 sachet of dried leaves believed to be marijuana wrapped in aluminium foil.

He is now in police custody and drugs have been sent to be analyzed.

In another case, a 32-year-old man of Sorokoba Village, Ba was detained after being found in possession of 3 bullets of dried leaves believed to be marijuana which cost $148.40.

The suspect in custody whilst drugs have been sent for analysis.
