The post mortem of a 60-year-old man who died in a road accident in Nadi on Saturday will be conducted today.

The accident happened on Queen’s Road along Korovuto.

The victim was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a 23-year-old heading towards Nadi from Suva.

It’s alleged the driver lost control of the vehicle causing it to veer off the road and collide with a street light.

The driver remains in custody as investigation continues.

The road death toll currently stands at 10 compared to seven for the same period last year.
