Police are investigating claims that some of its officers are allowing remand prisoners to have intimate encounters in the court premises.

An incident occurred earlier this week, where four people including two remand prisoners were found in a comprising position in the Suva High Court restroom by court staff.

Police Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says the Police Internal Affairs Unit is investigating the claims.
