A team of police officers are investigating the death of 22-year-old tertiary student.

Rayna Prasad’s partly-burned body was found along Muanikau Road in Suva on Monday morning.

Prasad of Old Namara Settlement in Khalsa Road was reported missing by her father on Saturday.

Chief of Operations ACP Maretino Qiolevu confirms they are not ruling out foul play in this death and a post mortem has been conducted.

However, the cause of death could not be determined due to the state of decomposition.

Police officers are working round the clock to solve the matter.
