A 28-year-old man was arrested in Visako Circle, Nadera by police following information received that the suspect had drugs in his possession.

When searched, he was found with one sachet of dried leaves, suspected to be marijuana.

The suspect is in custody and the drugs sent for analysis.

In another incident, Police arrested a 47-year-old businessman of Jet Set Car Wash in Martintar, Nadi last night when a raid was conducted at the property.

The officers confiscated five small clear plastics containing a white substance with a weight of 28.6 grams, 12 sealed plastics of dried leaves believed to be marijuana along with equipment believed to be used for drugs and foreign currency from Australia, New Zealand, America and Argentina worth $1, 206.

The suspect remains in custody awaiting a drugs analysis report.
