A man has been charged for murdering a 34-year-old security guard of Waidradra in Navua earlier this month.

Police say the man has been charged with one count of murder and will appear at the Navua Magistrates Court today.

He allegedly fled into the interior of Navua once investigators had established solid leads into his alleged involvement.

The man was arrested at Dakunikoro farm after surrendering himself to Police.

He is currently in custody at the Navua Police Station.
