Four involved in Courts Fiji robbery charged

The four men alleged to have been involved in the Courts Fiji robbery have been charged with one count each of robbery.

They will be produced in the Rakiraki Magistrates Court today.

The four were intercepted by the Police in Rakiraki during an alleged aggravated robbery on Saturday night.

Police say the accused persons who are believed to be in their 20s, broke into the Courts Fiji outlet in the town and allegedly stole items worth up to $10,000.

When officers intercepted the group, a getaway vehicle was also seen at the premises to transport the alleged stolen goods.

Police confirmed that all stolen items have been recovered.
