FICAC has confirmed receiving calls in relation to a person by the name of Zameer claiming to be working for the iTaukei Land Trust Board.

The iTaukei Land Trust Board says Zameer has been visiting a few places in Nausori particularly residents of Vuci South Road claiming to be working at the Korovou office.

Zameer is claiming that he is working on the leasing of land within that area.

FICAC confirms they have been receiving calls from the public regarding Zameer however have refused to divulge any further information.

The TLTB is urging Fijians to be vigilant and take note that all their officers going into the field carry proper identification cards.

The Board says all lease applications and land dealings on iTaukei land are only carried out at the TLTB office and not at any residences.
