The twelve people who were protesting at the Savura dam and threatened to stop the water supply around the Suva area are still being questioned.
Police Chief of Operations, ACP Maretino Qiolevu says they are being investigated on the alleged closure of the dam in Colo-I-Suva.
Qiolevu says the group was interrogated along the lines of unlawful assembly and illegal trespass.
The group was also showing their protest live on social media as they were seen holding cardboards which shows their disagreement.
Qiolevu says there are legal avenues to be followed when raising grievances and people must not take the law into their own hands.
