In a bid to help clean the environment and beautify picnic spots for the general public, China Railway First Group (CRFG) embarked on a clean-up campaign this morning in Suva.

Thirty-five Chinese workers turned up to clean the foreshore at Suva Point of litter, old tyres and waste left alone the sand and managed to fill 50 bags of rubbish.

The Group’s spokesman Donald Singh says they decided to do this activity as part of the company’s social responsibility.

CRFG has been carrying out major infrastructure project works in Fiji for over seven years.
